Rules & Regulations for all applicants

If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern The Pitch’s relationship with you in relation to this website. The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of our website. The term The Pitch or “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the website.

The use of this platform is subject to the following terms of use:

  1. The deadline to submit the proposal is on or before 23 October 2015.
  2.  For each selected project, two participants (pitchers) are allowed to attend the Forum.
  3. Film content, if included as a part of the pitch, must adhere to the 6 minute time limit. If the pitch is made exclusively in the form of a film, it must also follow the 6 minute time limit
  4. Providing visual material is strongly advised. Apart from uploading the film, individual is required to sign and submit the documents online. All videos, either a part of the pitch or an exclusive pitch should be sent to us via video streaming link such as Youtube, vimeo, etc. Any audio recording connected with the pitch must also follow these rules and should be sent to us via audio streaming link such as  Soundcloud, etc. Images and/or additional artwork that might be a part of the pitch can be uploaded and sent to us in the JPEG / PNG format. By sending in your trailer or other sample material, you give Rolling Frames Film Society permission to show the material on their websites associated Online / Selection in case the project is selected for the Forum. By providing your trailer and stills, you give Rolling Frames Film Society permission to use the material at www.rollingframes.in / .com /.org , and for promotional purposes for the Rolling Frames Film Summit 2015.
  5. Please ensure that materials used for the pitch legally belong to the applicant and the individual/team has the rights to use them. Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this forum for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law. Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.
  6. Unfortunately if not selected, we cannot give feedback about the decision, due to the high demand of entries. Rolling frames in sole discretion will disqualify any applicants entry deemed to be inappropriate or otherwise non-compliant and no refund/cost/compensation is entitled.
  7. By submitting a project to the Rolling Frames Pitching Forum 2015, you agree that the project will not be withdrawn after selection.
  8. If the selected project is completed in due time, the Rolling Frames Pitching Forum will be referred to in the credits as ‘This film was pitched at Rolling Frames Pitching Forum 2015′.

  10. The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice. From time to time this forum may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse this forum. We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).
  11. Please make sure to complete the Rolling Frames Film Summit accreditation/delegation pass form as well. The accreditation/delegation pass form offers applicants the opportunity to indicate if they would like to attend the Rolling Frames Pitching Forum even if their project is not selected. All participants must get accreditation/delegation pass. The Rolling Frames Pitching Forum venue is restricted to accredited Rolling Frames Pitching Forum participants only. If you have meetings scheduled with people who are not attending the Forum, you must arrange them elsewhere.
  12. The Rolling Frames Pitching Forum – Organising Committee strongly advises first time pitchers to attend the pitch screening sessions.
  13. After the Rolling Frames Pitching Forum, all participants are asked to participate in two questionnaires to help us evaluate the year’s edition.
  14. Any  applicant  by uploading videos/short films for pitching forum,is automatically assumed as an  applicant,and has  has accepted all our Legal rules,terms and condition.

 

Information Collection and Use

We collect information when you submit your details for interest or entry to Rolling Frames Pitching forum / competition. When entering The Pitch competition, your details are used to create an account/profile where you can manage your online application.

Upon entering The Rolling Frames Pitching competition, you will be required to submit information about yourself and your business which will, if your entry is successful, be made public on Rolling Frames Film Summit. Once submitted this information cannot be amended, unless in extenuating circumstances. As part of your application you will also be required to submit a short video, poster, synopsis . By submitting your Pitch application you agree that Rolling Frames Pitching Forum, and other related sites such as www.rollingframes.in, have the right to use the information provided in your application and your video for any promotional and marketing purposes related to The Pitch.

Your details are never sold or rented to any third parties. However, where your details are requested to register interest or enter the competition, you agree that such details will be provided to The Rolling Frames sponsors.

 

Application Information

By entering The Rolling Frames Pitching Forum competition you agree that any information provided about yourself, your business or your business idea, whether it is in written and/or video format, will be shared with our panel of judges in order for them to assess and chose which applicants will advance to the next stages of the competition.

This Website takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the Website, your information is protected both online and off-line.

Submission Handling Charges
Each Pitch submission will be charged 500 INR (Five Hundred Rupees).
